Rising Voices: Contemporary Art from Asia, Australia and the Pacific

V&A Museum

South Kensington, London

Rising Voices celebrates contemporary art and cultural expression from Asia, Australia, and the Pacific, bringing together powerful works that explore identity, community, memory, and connection across generations. Our lighting design aimed to enhance each installation in its uniqueness, using carefully composed light and shadow placements to guide visitors through a deeply thought-provoking exhibition. High level lighting accents, softly highlight the clever architectural motifs, suggesting a sense of the spiritual expanse and drawing resonance to the emotional journey of the artworks’ curation. Embedded within the exhibition is a display of jewellery & accessories primarily using organic materials. The bespoke showcases featured customised lighting, designed to glow from within and enhance the beauty of the enclosed objects.  This is the first contemporary collection of Artworks originated from Australia ever to be exhibited at the V&A.
